Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop menus that showcase our hotel's unique style and cuisine.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to set prices for menu items.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the hospitality industry.
  • Manage inventory and purchase supplies from approved vendors.
  • Coordinate an efficient payroll management system and resource allocation.
  • Assist and direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery.
  • Establish and implement performance standards for stewards and food service staff to achieve high hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
  • Identify and introduce new culinary techniques.
  • Prepare meals and complete prep support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course.
  • At least 7 years of experience in quality establishments in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP management systems and administration work.
  • Prior experience with Futurelog and food waste management systems is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management degree.
