Job Description

About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished Junior Sous Chef to join our esteemed culinary team at Jumeirah Muscat Bay. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing kitchen sections, controlling costs, and implementing innovative ideas to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for training and developing junior staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence within the kitchen.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for cooking, working with a talented team of chefs to deliver unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant setting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff members.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures, including HACCP certification.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
