Business Analyst - Client Focused

We are seeking an experienced business analyst to join our team. As a business analyst, you will play a pivotal role in instigating and fostering robust professional relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and analyze business needs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working within a business analyst capacity across a variety of IT projects, including formal business analysis certification (e.g., IIBA) and PRINCE 2, Agile, APM, CAPM or other relevant project management certification. You will also possess extensive knowledge of recognized IT project management methodologies including waterfall and agile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Stakeholders: Identify, define, and prioritize solution requirements, securing user, project, and programme management sign-off as appropriate.
  • Epic Development: Create and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Engage with IT software and service providers to support user acceptance testing, product design, and development.
  • Business Knowledge: Develop a strong working knowledge of the client IT environment, business goals, priorities, existing business processes, and system interactions.
  • Requirements Elicitation: Liaise with stakeholders to identify and gain a concise understanding of business problems.
  • Analytical Tools: Apply a wide range of analytical tools and techniques, including gap analysis, SWOT analysis, options analysis, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation, such as specifications, user guides, testing materials, and post-implementation handover documents.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships and interact professionally with diverse stakeholder groups, achieving agreed outcomes and managing expectations around scope, delivery, and timescales.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to setting standard practices and processes for business analysis, ensuring best practice is followed for continuous business process improvement.
