
Strategic Workforce Leadership Specialist

At the forefront of a rapidly evolving corporate landscape, this pivotal leadership role is poised to drive strategic workforce planning and operational excellence across diverse functions.
Located at the company's headquarters in Muscat, Oman, the successful candidate will be entrusted with aligning workforce strategies with long-term business goals, ensuring robust planning and future-ready talent pipelines.
The ideal candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of long-term strategic workforce plans, harmonizing them with the business's vision and operational model. Additionally, they will translate corporate objectives into actionable talent and organizational planning strategies, encompassing succession planning, workforce transformation, and reward structuring.
- Develop and execute comprehensive workforce plans that synchronize with the organization's long-term objectives and operational framework.
- Translate corporate visions into practical people and organizational strategies, addressing areas such as succession planning, workforce renewal, and incentive design.
- Conduct thorough analyses of internal workforce trends and external labor market dynamics to forecast future skill and capacity requirements.
- Partner with external institutions and advisory firms to stay abreast of industry trends and integrate best practices into workforce strategy initiatives.
- Function as a key advocate for people strategy within the organization, securing executive buy-in through effective persuasion and compelling storytelling.
- Assess potential risks associated with workforce capability, demographic shifts, and regulatory factors, and proactively recommend mitigation and contingency plans.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to workforce and talent management, tracking progress and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HR, workforce strategy, or organizational development, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to create strategic frameworks and operationalize workforce and talent strategies in large, matrixed organizations.
- Proven experience in leading strategic people initiatives, workforce modeling, and change management programs.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills; comfortable engaging at C-suite level.
- Technical proficiency in areas such as manpower planning, organizational design, and total reward strategy is highly advantageous.
