Hotel Sales Director

The Hotel Sales Director is a senior leadership role that oversees the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maximize sales opportunities through proactive engagement with clients, identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects, and nurturing existing relationships.
  • To work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, ensuring alignment with hotel objectives and market trends.
  • To monitor local companies' performance and maintain strong product knowledge to stay ahead of competitors.
  • To attend and present at regular meetings with the Director of Sales and other stakeholders to share insights and best practices.
  • To prepare and submit rate tenders/RFPs on behalf of the hotel, leveraging strong negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes.
  • To organize client entertaining, show rounds, and FAM trips for key decision-makers to build relationships and showcase hotel offerings.
  • To maintain compliance with all company and statutory requirements related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a 4/5-star branded hotel.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required; Master's degree or higher preferred.
  • Fluent English language skills; Arabic proficiency an asset.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations in previous roles.
