Job Overview:
A strategic HR business partner is needed to lead HR operations and initiatives in Oman. This role partners closely with business leaders and regional HR teams to deliver impactful HR solutions, ensure legal compliance, and drive employee engagement across field and office locations.
The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor on workforce planning, performance, employee relations, and cultural alignment.
This includes overseeing the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
Collaboration with leaders on workforce planning, succession, and organizational design is also essential.
The selected individual will manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with Oman Labour Law.
Additionally, they will partner with global HR teams on compensation, mobility, talent management, and learning programs.
Driving employee engagement initiatives and supporting a culture of inclusion and performance are crucial aspects of this role.
Strong analytical skills are required to analyze HR data and metrics to influence decisions and optimize workforce strategies.
Supporting internal audits, investigations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures is also necessary.
This role promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion across departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Aligning HR support with operational priorities
- Serving as the primary HR contact for Oman, providing strategic guidance to management and employees
- Conducting regular virtual meetings and in-person visits to ensure visibility and employee connection
- Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with Oman Labour Law
- Partnering with global HR teams on compensation, mobility, talent management, and learning programs
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and supporting a culture of inclusion and performance
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Law (Master's or HR certification preferred)
8–15 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a business partnering role
Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or similar sectors preferred
