Job Title:

HSE Officer - Brownfield Expansion Project

About the Role:

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained in line with regulatory and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting HSE site audits, inspections (internal and external), and routine surveys. Additionally, they will develop and draft audit documentation, track corrective actions, and monitor trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct HSE site audits, inspections, and routine surveys to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and draft audit documentation, track corrective actions, and monitor trends to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist in preparing HSE procedures, programs, and technical documents to support the HSE Management System
  • Support the implementation of the HSE Management System and maintain related documentation
  • Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Generate periodic HSE reports and provide detailed safety analytics to inform business decisions
  • Participate in Job Safety Assessments and use relevant risk assessment tools to identify potential hazards
  • Conduct and participate in daily Toolbox Talks (TBTs) to promote a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in similar industries, preferably in brownfield construction and commissioning projects
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi or Chinese (fluency in any one combination is required)
  • Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
