About the role

Our client is a well-established and diversified group of companies with over 50 years of strong business presence in multiple sectors. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group General Manager (GM) to lead their
real estate development, hospitality, and rental portfolios across both commercial and residential projects- overseeing operations, driving growth, and maximizing business returns.

Key Responsibilities


• Work closely with the Board to implement business strategies and achieve company goals.


• Lead and manage cross-functional teams across all group companies.


• Oversee planning and execution of real estate and hospitality projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.


• Manage feasibility studies, project financing, and investment evaluations.


• Supervise land acquisition, design, approvals, tendering, procurement, and project delivery.


• Oversee sales, marketing, and customer service functions to ensure client satisfaction.


• Build strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, and government authorities.


• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and corporate governance standards.


• Drive business growth, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Business Administration (Master's preferred).


• Minimum 14 years of progressive experience with a solid track record in leadership roles.


• Proven expertise in project execution, business development, and financial management.


• Strong understanding of project planning, construction processes, and regulatory requirements.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
