Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vendor Relations Officer, located in Muscat, Oman. The Vendor Relations Officer will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and resolving any issues that arise. Daily tasks include coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining accurate records of vendor interactions and transactions. The role also involves developing strategies to improve vendor relationships and conducting regular evaluations to ensure vendor quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Ability to search, approach and convert new Vendors
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience in vendor relationship management and coordination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the technology or consumer services industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
