The Opportunity

We are seeking an
Innovation Manager
based in Oman to lead collaboration and innovation across our regional and global partners.

This position is about driving transformation and accelerating progress across the energy industry. The focus is on connecting operational insight, technology, and data logistics into a unified mission to help teams deliver energy safely and efficiently.

You will guide partners in using Animo to elevate performance, integrate smarter workflows, and uncover new opportunities for growth. The role combines strategic leadership, data fluency, and a deep understanding of field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that bring together partners, engineers, and data teams to deliver measurable innovation in operational performance.
• Facilitate innovation sessions, workshops, and pilots that explore new applications of data intelligence and AI.
• Ensure that partner organizations fully leverage Animo for performance tracking, data logistics, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the flow and quality of operational data across regional partners to ensure readiness for advanced analytics and AI applications.
• Translate feedback from the field into clear insights and priorities for product and engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for new integrations, digital efficiencies, and collaboration programs that strengthen regional adoption.
• Entrusted with handling highly sensitive corporate initiatives and proprietary data.
• Represent Astra Innovations in strategic partner meetings, industry events, and innovation forums across Oman and the broader Middle East.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy operations, digital transformation, or technology-driven project leadership.
• Strong understanding of drilling, completions, or production operations in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that connect technology, operations, and business value.
• Experience working with data systems, analytics platforms, or AI-enabled tools that support decision-making.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and operational audiences.
• High level of curiosity about emerging technologies and a practical mindset for applying them in real operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and alignment across diverse teams.
• Proven track record of maintaining strict confidentiality in high-stakes, sensitive environments.
