. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Proposal Engineer
to join our team and support tendering and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review
    tender documents, scope of work, and technical requirements
    received from clients.
  • Coordinate with discipline leads (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Process, etc.) to prepare
    technical and commercial proposals
    .
  • Prepare
    man-hour estimates, CTRs (Cost Time Resource sheets), BOQs, and project execution plans
    .
  • Support in
    preparation of prequalification documents, company profiles, and client submissions
    .
  • Liaise with procurement and subcontractors for
    quotation requests and budgetary pricing
    .
  • Ensure all
    proposal documents comply with client requirements, standards, and deadlines
    .
  • Maintain records of submitted bids, clarifications, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Participate in
    clarification meetings, bid evaluations, and negotiations
    with clients.
  • Work closely with the
    Business Development Manager
    to track tender opportunities and maintain a tender database.
  • Prepare
    post-bid analysis
    and contribute to process improvements for future submissions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrumentation / Equivalent).
  • 8–12 years
    of experience in proposal / estimation / tendering roles within
    engineering consultancy or EPC environments
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Oil & Gas / Industrial project scopes
    and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    ; experience with
    AutoCAD, Primavera, or costing software
    is an advantage.
  • Added advantage if familiar with
    Omani and GCC clients' standards and tendering procedures
    (PDO, OQ, Oxy Oman, etc.).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
