Position Summary: The Medical Field Manager ensures the implementation of detailing activities related to Nestlé's Infant Nutrition products to medical professionals in his/her area. This is done in the most effective and efficient way possible, fully compliant with the WHO Code, Nestlé instructions, the National Code, and local laws, through his/her team of Medical Delegates.

A Day in the Life..

  1. Develop an action plan (quarterly reviewed) establishing detailing objectives for his/her area and prioritizing resources to achieve these objectives, in line with his Field Operations Manager.
  2. Continuously monitor and review territory activities through CRM and other data sources on HCP demographics to identify opportunities and propose yearly strategies and field force size.
  3. Budget for foreseeable expenses, especially those involving special functions (scientific meetings, etc.), and ensure proper requisition, allocation, and distribution of all materials for his/her team.
  4. Review classification of healthcare professionals by medical delegates according to type, ensure fair distribution of coverage, and maintain database consistency.
  5. In liaison with the Field Operations Manager, ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of the team of medical delegates, including transfers sourcing and active participation in recruitment processes.
  6. Motivate, coach, guide, and evaluate Medical Delegates' performance by validating the effectiveness of programs on detailing skills, product knowledge, and presentation skills, recognizing positive performance and providing feedback on areas for improvement.
  7. Organize and conduct cycle meetings, instructing medical delegates on new literature/promotion materials, and updating the team on new developments in nutrition, products, and regulations communicated by Nutrition Management. Ensure follow-up on action points from these meetings.
  8. Gain insights into product availability and take appropriate actions related to HCP communications and activities.
  9. Monitor and report competitors' activities within the territory and propose action plans accordingly.
  10. Personally visit KOLs and key stakeholders within his/her geographical scope.
  11. Organize and coordinate scientific lectures on nutrition-related topics with medical and paramedical groups.
  12. Ensure strict adherence and compliance, by himself/herself and his/her team, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes.
  13. Ensure that the Medical Field team does not seek contact with, or give advice to, pregnant women or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.

Education: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology.

Minimum Experience: 2-3 years leading a team with a solid achievement record.
