Position Summary: The Medical Field Manager ensures the implementation of detailing activities related to Nestlé's Infant Nutrition products to medical professionals in his/her area, in full compliance with the WHO Code, Nestlé instructions, the National Code, and local laws, through his/her team of Medical Delegates.

A Day in the Life:

  1. Develop an action plan (quarterly reviewed) establishing detailing objectives for his/her area and prioritizing resources to achieve these objectives, in line with his Field Operations Manager.
  2. Monitor and review territory activities using CRM and other data sources on HCP demographics to identify opportunities and propose yearly strategies and team size adjustments.
  3. Manage budgets for foreseeable expenses, including special functions like scientific meetings, and ensure proper requisition, allocation, and distribution of materials.
  4. Classify healthcare professionals by medical delegates according to type, ensure fair distribution of coverage, and maintain database consistency.
  5. Coordinate with the Field Operations Manager to ensure maximum efficiency of the medical delegates team, including transfers and recruitment processes.
  6. Motivate, coach, guide, and evaluate Medical Delegates' performance, validating the effectiveness of their detailing skills, product knowledge, and presentation skills, and providing feedback for improvement.
  7. Organize and conduct cycle meetings, instructing delegates on new literature and promotional materials, and updating the team on new developments in nutrition, products, and regulations.
  8. Gain insights into product availability and take appropriate actions related to HCP communications and activities.
  9. Monitor and report on competitors' activities within the territory and propose action plans accordingly.
  10. Personally visit Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key stakeholders in the assigned geographical scope.
  11. Organize and coordinate scientific lectures on nutrition-related topics with medical and paramedical groups.
  12. Ensure adherence to and compliance with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, Nestlé instructions, and local country codes by the team.
  13. Ensure that Medical Delegates do not seek contact with or give advice to pregnant women or mothers of infants regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.

Education: Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of leading a team with a solid achievement record.
