• Develop delegated elements of the annual business plan to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Lead and manage design resources for projects.
• Manage daily operations for project design resources and managers.
• Present management review data and KPIs to project and leadership teams.
• Support business development and work-winning activities.
• Identify, develop, and deliver relevant training programs.
• Ensure management systems and project roles are followed and responsibilities are clear.
• Act as the focal point for design-related matters on projects.
• Recommend and initiate changes to project delivery plans and develop new design management tools and processes.
• Support procurement routes, contractual, and legal aspects of projects.
• Promote technical excellence and facilitate communication and dialogue.
• Collaborate with project management office teams to ensure coordinated deliverables.
• Seek knowledge and experience through company resources and the centre of excellence.
• Work towards net zero carbon goals by managing associated emissions during project delivery.
• Apply good knowledge of design management systems, risk management, and mitigation.
• Possess extensive experience delivering various building types across multiple sectors.
• Display negotiation skills to support client and customer focus.
• Maintain good knowledge of construction and consultancy industries, including legislation, standards, and contracts.
• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
• Maintain impartiality and evaluate evidence pragmatically.
• Take initiative and make appropriate decisions.
• Have good BIM literacy, management, and deliverables.
• Provide technical challenge and lead others effectively.
