About The Job

The Bartender reports to the Food and Beverage.

As Bartender you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To always follow the production sequence of all beverage products and bar sequence of service.
• To always achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service.
• To be responsible for the set-up and operation of a bar station/section.
• Provide services for guests such as order taking, promoting restaurant food and beverage offerings.
• Provide recommendations and prepare wine and creative cocktail choices for the guests.
• To co-ordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately.
• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service.
• To respond proactively to guest queries, followed by effective communication.
• To perform all duties related to restaurant opening/closing checklist.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Bar Supervisor/ Assistant Manager.
• To carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inventory.
• Responsible for cash float and cashiering.
• To maintain and order all the store requisition.
• To maintain the stocks rotation.
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
• A minimum of 1 year of Bartender experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service with little input from others.
• Perform job with attention to detail and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Clear communication; effective verbal communication skills in English.
