Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; this includes the internal recruitment process. Has to execute within the defined recruitment cycle time, consistent quality of job applicants and to keep the recruitment costs within the budget.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic recruitment sources to ensure timely and effective recruitment of talent.
- Source suitable candidates through direct advertising, recruitment agencies, career fairs and online.
- Participate in career fairs.
- Ensure the coordination of internal search for candidates from within organization for relevant job openings.
- Oversee screening and short listing of prospective candidates and forward their profiles to respective business unit for review and scheduling of interviews.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System and other software to provide accurate data and report capabilities.
- Contribute towards maintaining a database of applicants from which candidates may be sourced currently or when opportunities become available.
- Ensure the verification process that education and experience represented by the candidate is factual by checking awarding institutions and prior employers.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, and job sites.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Reaching the defined targets for hiring of different job families.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resource principles and tools.
- Working knowledge of Oracle, HRMS and other ERP systems.
- Phone Skills, Recruiting, Interviewing Skills, People Skills, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or relevant subject.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years experience within the Human Resources domain.
