We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and innovative Creative Events Coordinator with proven experience in curating and delivering art, design, and cultural events. This role requires a deep understanding of the creative industries, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage high-budget events with flair and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative concepts for arts, cultural, and design-related events, including exhibitions, festivals, product launches, and bespoke experiences.
  • Regularly updating clients and keeping them informed of any issues or changes to ensure transparency and smooth coordination.
  • Create mood boards, event proposals, and visual presentations that capture the essence of the event.
  • Coordinate and manage event timelines, deliverables, and high-value budgets.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all logistical aspects, including venue management, vendor coordination, and permits.
  • Negotiate with vendors, sponsors, and artists to achieve the best terms while maintaining creative quality.
  • Implementing the budget, invoicing, and logistics while selecting and negotiating with vendors, and monitoring their activities to ensure quality control.
  • Working with the marketing and public relations departments to prepare budgets, setting deadlines, creating concepts and identifying the objectives of the event
  • Collaborate with creative professionals, including designers, artists, performers, and curators.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, including AV, lighting, stage design, and décor.
  • Act as the main point of contact during events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.
  • Ensuring that corporate events are in line with a company's brand identity and strategy
  • Being present at the event to ensure everything runs smoothly and implementing backup plans in case of any issues.
  • Work closely with clients, sponsors, and collaborators to ensure their vision is realized while adding artistic and experiential value.
  • Engage diverse audiences with tailored event programming that reflects cultural and artistic relevance.
  • Stay updated on global and regional trends in art, design, and experiential events.
  • Introduce cutting-edge technologies, sustainability practices, and innovative design concepts to enhance event experiences.

Job Specification:

  • Experience in planning and executing events within the arts, design, or cultural sectors (e.g., art exhibitions, design fairs, cultural festivals).
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
  • Proven experience managing large-scale event budgets and negotiating with vendors, artists, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational skills, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management tools and creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CAD for event layouts, and digital presentation platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva).
  • Ability to liaise effectively with artists, designers, clients, sponsors, and high-profile stakeholders.
  • A degree in Event Management, Art & Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience managing international events or collaborations.
  • Familiarity with local art and design communities in the UAE market.
