• Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
• Leading the Assurances team, including programme and Mace employees.
• Building the Assurances team responsible for health and safety, environmental/sustainability management, quality management, and worker welfare.
• Overseeing performance and continuous improvement of standard processes.
• Training the wider team in processes and procedures as required.
• This is a client-facing role involving internal presentations to the City SLT, project teams, and supply chains.
• Delivering delegated elements of an annual business plan within time and budget constraints.
• Managing and facilitating external certification audits and supporting achievement of new certifications.
• Organizing and facilitating internal audits, leading audits, and producing reports.
• Conducting root cause analysis of non-conformance issues and recommending corrective and preventative measures.
• Reviewing management system content for appropriateness, improvement, and implementation.
• Identifying new systems and processes to enhance efficiency, recommending improvements and innovations.
• Ensuring quality report information is accurate, available, and timely.
• Producing communication articles, plans, and collateral.
• Analyzing data and metrics from management reviews, providing insights and recommendations.
• Recommending actions to mitigate risks and improve management system effectiveness.
• Supporting business development activities with expertise and knowledge.
• Developing and delivering training programs.
• Managing and monitoring supply chain performance, supporting suppliers with training, guidance, and audits of their QMS capabilities.
• Working collaboratively towards net zero carbon goals, proactively managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.

• Formal auditor training in relevant subject areas.
• Line management experience.
• Quality assurance and quality management system experience.
• Internal auditing experience.
