To provide a range of support functions for Oracle ERP systems within the operational support domain. The role ensures the seamless functionality of systems through system health check, system support, system updates, troubleshooting, documentation, and users support. Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring data backup and recovery, enhancing system security, providing technical solutions to improve the performance of operational systems, and performing Level 2 support for Oracle ERP-related applications.

- Minimum role requirements:
- Qualification : Bachelor in relevant field
- Experience:
- Senior Proficient: minimum of 8 years of experience
- Advanced expertise in Oracle ERP Systems, Oracle E-Business Suite applications and Oracle Apps DBA.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle workflows, forms, operating systems, and databases.
- Proficient in configuring and generating custom reports
- Experience handling APIs for integration with other systems.
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems and enterprise applications relevant to Oracle ERP.
- Strong expertise in Linux operating systems, including system administration, scripting, and troubleshooting in Oracle ERP environments.
- Deep knowledge of IT standards like ITIL, security, compliance processes, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Well-developed communication skills, with experience in negotiating and influencing others.
- Experience coordinating and managing support related projects and processes
- Implement, test, and deploy changes / updates to Oracle ERP systems.
- Provide technical support for system users and troubleshoot of system issues.
- Assist in system health checks, ensuring applications run smoothly and efficiently.
- Install/upgrade new and existing systems.
- Proactively monitor operational systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with infrastructure teams to address system performance issues and optimize systems.
- Collaborate with the network and infrastructure teams to ensure system integrations, security patches, and updates are handled efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to support web services and operational applications.
- Assist in incident resolution, ensuring quick closure of support tickets and minimizing downtime.
- Document incidents and resolutions in accordance with IT support processes.
- Work alongside security teams to ensure that all systems are up to date with security protocols, patches, and upgrades.
- Assist in enhancing system security by identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating on security improvements.
- Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting, support, and system enhancements.
- Manage software licensing for supported systems, ensuring accurate sizing and timely renewals.
- Ensure proper backup procedures are in place for all critical systems and data.
- Assist in data recovery operations to minimize downtime in the event of system failures.
