About the roleAt EMCD, our Sales Team is the engine that drives our fast-growing global presence, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, closing sales, and developing strong and trustworthy relationships with B2B clients. As a Regional Sales Director dedicated to the MENA region, you will partner your strategic sales ability with our innovative products. This role provides enormous potential for career and financial progression.
The primary responsibility of the role is to grow our Crypto Services products family globally by advocating our platform to companies, resellers, fintech and crypto platforms, and brokerage houses, sharing our unique value proposition into the capital markets ecosystem. The product families include:
- Coinhold (B2B and API) - a savings cryptocurrency wallet offering up to 14% annual yield. Designed for storing cryptocurrencies and generating passive income with interest compounding.
- Payroll - a system for automating salary payments and other remuneration to employees, freelancers or partners using cryptocurrencies. Designed for companies up to 200 staff to simplify international payment procedures and minimize fees, with a focus on transparency, security of transactions, and reducing the tax base.
- SWAP - instant and secure coin exchange for crypto projects, Web 3 wallets, DeFi trackers and dApps. Integrated with different trading platforms to offer the best exchange rate on 500 coins. No account required to use SWAP.
- Cryptoprocessing - helps grow sales with an easy, functional payment gateway. Designed for currency exchange services, online stores, gaming platforms, broker firms, travel companies, banking service providers, real estate, crowdfunding platforms, and IT companies.
Role: Regional Sales Director (MENA)
Reporting line: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Dubai/Abu Dhabi (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Oman
Worksite: Remote
What you will be doing- Lead the sales growth strategy across the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa)
- Build and manage direct sales operations for our products in the region
- Develop partnerships with local companies, resellers, fintech and crypto platforms
- Build and scale a high-performing regional sales team
- Manage both outbound sales (cold outreach) and inbound lead conversion processes
- Represent the company at key industry events and conferences across the region
- Support clients and partners throughout all engagement stages (pre-sale, sale, and post-sale)
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and identify new growth opportunities
- Ensure accurate reporting on key sales metrics (deal volume, conversion rates, client retention) using Hubspot CRM
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to adapt strategies for the MENA market
- 5+ years of professional experience in B2B technology sales or crypto/fintech/SaaS solutions and mining pools within MENA
- Proven experience in outbound (cold outreach) and inbound sales channel management
- Strong experience in building sales funnels, managing client retention, and handling complex deals
- Strong familiarity and network in the local capital markets and investment ecosystem
- Background in Enterprise Fintech sales is a strong advantage
- Native Arabic speaker (mandatory); English language proficiency
- UAE citizenship preferred (or legal right to work in the UAE without sponsorship)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and expanding customer base
- Experience in building and leading sales teams
- Skilled in developing partnership programs and closing commercial agreements
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and business concepts to various stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across the region (20-30% travel expected)
- Excellent presentation skills and experience speaking at industry events
- Strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to deliver under limited resources
- Analytical decision-maker with a data-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with different levels of stakeholders
- Customer-focused with a strong understanding of regional business needs
- Transparent and ethical leadership style fostering trust among partners and teams
