Overview of the role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Muscat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to achieve business objectives, ensuring high levels of revenue, gross margin, net profit, and customer satisfaction.

What you will do

• Manage and monitor net sales and gross margin in accordance with targets and budgets on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis

• Oversee and ensure the achievement of monthly and yearly objectives for the department

• Lead a highly professional sales team comprising of Senior Sales Executives, Sales Executives, and Product Executives

• Generate profitability from each sales account and build a balanced portfolio of clients across industries and geographies to de-risk revenue growth

• Monitor payment collections and conduct periodic collection reviews to ensure department profitability

• Identify and develop new market and client opportunities, and provide assistance to the sales and service departments to maximize sales

• Maintain and increase the lubricants business

• Track competitors and their strategies to build on the company's market share in each product category

• Coordinate and maintain cordial relations with all principals and ensure achieving their set targets

• Prepare reports, place timely orders with principals, and ensure supplies within the stipulated time frame

• Ensure that aging stocks and debtors are well within the expected budgets

Required skills to be successful

• Diploma in Automobile Engineering or MBA in Industrial Marketing

• Excellent man-management and team-building skills

• Should have experience managing principal/ OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)

• Experience managing warehouse and inventory management

About the team
You will be part of the TLB (Tyres, Lubes & Batteries department, reporting to the National Parts Manager. Our team is dedicated to achieving business objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction through collaboration and innovation.
