Investment Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join our team. As an Investment Manager, you will play a key role in executing our investment strategy and identifying high-potential investment opportunities.

Your primary responsibility will be to source deals, conduct thorough market research, and lead the due diligence process on prospective investments. You will also be responsible for presenting opportunity assessment management reports to stakeholders at all stages of the investment process.

In addition, you will support analysis of new investments, including modelling and valuation, and prepare business activity reports and forecasts. You will also develop, organize, and maintain business opportunity records and participate in the process of annual budget preparation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of M&A processes and principles, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing deals and conducting market research
  • Leading the due diligence process on prospective investments
  • Presenting opportunity assessment management reports to stakeholders
  • Supporting analysis of new investments
  • Preparing business activity reports and forecasts
  • Developing and maintaining business opportunity records
  • Participating in the process of annual budget preparation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years experience in a relevant business segment
  • Previous M&A experience
  • Advanced MS Office experience, particularly in Excel modelling
  • Deep understanding of M&A processes and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
