We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Culinary Excellence to lead our hotel's kitchen operations. As a member of our management team, you will be responsible for training and managing the kitchen team, supervising all culinary activities, estimating food consumption and purchase, selecting and developing recipes, and ensuring consistent quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or related Culinary degree and minimum 2 years of industry and culinary management experience. They should also have previous experience controlling food and labor costs, demonstration cooking, menu development, and pricing development.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and drive revenue while ensuring profitable kitchen operations. You will be directly responsible for hiring, people development, and performance reviews of the kitchen team, and will report to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall kitchen operations of the hotel
- Train and manage kitchen team members
- Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities
- Estimate food consumption and purchase of food
- Select and develop recipes
- Standardize production of dishes to ensure consistent quality
- Plan and price menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen
