
Global Asset Management Sales Leader

The role of an Institutional Sales Manager is multifaceted, requiring a deep understanding of the asset management industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Accountabilities- Design and implement strategies to expand institutional client relationships in GCC, focusing on asset management and brokerage offerings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, including banks, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates, and family offices, to ensure client satisfaction and partnership development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to synchronize institutional sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Sales Growth and Team Leadership
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with institutional clients, leveraging industry connections and market insight.
- Drive revenue growth by promoting asset management products (mutual funds, portfolios) and brokerage services, achieving assigned targets and profitability goals.
- Leverage your leadership skills to motivate and direct a team of junior sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and excellence in client service.
Market Expertise and Collaboration
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's asset management products and brokerage services.
- Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for product positioning and drive sales growth.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree and/or CFA certification are advantageous.
Experience and Industry Network
- Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in institutional sales within the asset management industry or sell-side experience, showcasing leadership capabilities and a strong track record.
- Possess a well-established industry network in GCC, with existing relationships in the institutional market.
