We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of General Manager – Advertising Agency. This exciting opportunity will enable the successful candidate to leverage their expertise in advertising and marketing to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pitch to prospective clients and develop revenue growth strategies for the agency.
  2. Develop and implement marketing plans to promote services and increase brand visibility.
  3. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
  4. Identify and capitalize on marketing opportunities, participating in tenders to secure high-value projects.
  5. Oversee all aspects of advertising and marketing, including creative development, copywriting, layouts, and production.
  6. Manage service providers, suppliers, and onsite requirements to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Run day-to-day operations of a full-service integrated ad agency, supervising team output and resolving operational issues.
  8. Develop and implement financial strategies, coordinating the budget process and achieving profitability targets.
  9. Drive the marketing strategy, focusing on image building, corporate communications, and brand projection to enhance exposure to corporate and government sectors.
  10. Implement HR and Admin strategies, training and developing the team, improving proposal quality, and evaluating employee performance.
Leadership and Management Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee job cards, daily work sheets, design and creative content, website development, and conceptualization.
  2. Approve peripherals created for events and external clients.
  3. Develop and implement ideas to ensure smooth department operation.

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience managing a profitable, commercially driven agency with advertising and marketing expertise in lead generation, collateral development, brand building, and online advertising.
  2. The ability to manage a team to meet aggressive deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
  3. Exceptional oral, written communication skills, excellent presentation, and facilitation skills.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and excellence in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
