Industrial Health and Safety Specialist

Health and Safety is a top priority for any organization.
This role focuses on ensuring the implementation and compliance of HSE standards across customer project sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all HSE policies, procedures, and standards are followed at project sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify risks and non-compliance.
- Participate in HSE planning and risk assessments during project execution.
- Deliver HSE training and induction programs to project personnel and subcontractors.
- Monitor and report incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; assist in investigations and root cause analyses.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering is preferred or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or equivalent (mandatory).
- Recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in industrial automation, oil & gas, or similar sectors.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary, multicultural project environment.
- Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites across the Middle East and Africa.
