General Manager Position

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Omani operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth in Oman while supporting the successful development and coordination of our joint ventures.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement company policies and decisions made by the Board of Directors, and make necessary day-to-day decisions to ensure efficient performance.
  • Propose a suitable management structure, suggest individuals for roles, and seek approval from the Board of Directors. Shareholders and their affiliates should have opportunities to contribute to the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with contract provisions, standards, and regulations, and oversee the execution of works according to approved schedules, budgets, and industry standards.
  • Represent the organization in dealings with employers and third parties, including correspondence.
  • Organize and supervise company accounts, invoicing, and payments, ensuring bank accounts are operated ethically and profitably.
  • Keep the Board informed about project progress and relevant contract matters, providing regular updates as directed.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on financial and other relevant information, along with schedules, programs, and forecasts as required by the Board.

Business Identification Manager Role

The primary responsibility of the Business Identification Manager is to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow our business, aligned with global and business unit strategies. The focus is on acquiring new business and supporting growth targets, including revenue, margins, and client relationships.

The BIM will manage the opportunity pipeline across sectors and capabilities, coordinate with other BIMs and centers, and leverage skills, relationships, and cost bases to position us competitively. They will support business strategies, development, pursuits, client management, and proposal activities, ensuring alignment with our processes and goals.

The role involves assessing market and client information to identify risks and low-probability bids, and to recommend whether to pursue or not.

Additionally, the BIM will work to nurture client relationships, develop market entry strategies, support bid processes, and ensure compliance with ethical and internal policies.

This role reports to the Vice President of Growth and Development – Middle East – Delivery, and the Senior Vice President of Projects – Middle East – Delivery, requiring strong business partnering skills within a matrix organization with a focus on customer service.
