The role of Business Development focuses on identifying and developing business opportunities that align with strategic goals. This includes conducting market research, stakeholder coordination, proposal development, and supporting partnerships to ensure smooth execution while protecting commercial interests.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Contribution
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities that align with strategic direction.
  • Support the preparation of business cases, presentations, and reports to aid decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to market research and competitor analysis to help identify trends and potential partners.
  • Implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaboration
  • Work effectively with team members and other departments to support business initiatives.
  • Support knowledge-sharing within the team and engage with cross-functional teams to facilitate project handovers and updates.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business development objectives and communication flow.
Operational Management
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and ethics.
  • Prepare and organize business development materials such as proposals, presentations, and partnership briefs.
  • Support tracking and documentation of business leads, partnerships, and negotiations via internal tools or CRM systems.
  • Conduct market research and compile data on competitors, trends, and investment opportunities.
  • Organize meetings, site visits, and workshops with potential clients or partners.
  • Follow up on action items from meetings to ensure progress and alignment.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams on proposals and contractual documents.
  • Maintain awareness of project plans, stakeholder expectations, and priorities.
  • Suggest process improvements to workflow and documentation practices.
Education & Experience

A diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
