Hotel Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hotel. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of hospitality principles.

The Hotel Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that all operational aspects of the hotel are running smoothly. This includes managing budgets, implementing strategies to increase revenue, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to guests. This includes providing regular coaching and feedback, as well as identifying areas for improvement.

In addition to their leadership responsibilities, the Hotel Manager will also be involved in various other tasks such as:

  • Financial Management: Assisting the Director of Finance in the preparation and implementation of the budget. Providing input on Profit Maximising Initiatives and revenue generating strategies.
  • Safety and Security: Ensuring that guests and colleagues are constantly in an occupationally safe, healthy, and secure environment. Chairing the monthly Risk Management Committee meetings while ensuring full compliance by all Divisions.
  • Sustainability: Growing and improving our sustainability efforts as per set targets.
