Key Responsibilities:

Credit Management Role

This role involves overseeing the credit function for a country, delivering high-quality credit analytic reports.

  • Accountable for gathering financial information, assessing and analyzing client data.
  • Responsible for undertaking detailed credit risk assessment analysis, and visiting client premises as needed.
  • Identify potential fraudulent applications to protect reputational and financial interests.
  • Review original client documentation for verification, including bank statements, authorized signatory validations, annual financial statements, invoices, etc.
  • Liaise with external credit reference agencies and analyze third-party risk management reports.
  • Ensure client requests align with established risk appetite and credit policy.
  • Deliver periodic trend data to management on acceptance, decline rates, sector exposure, and concentration risk.
  • Present credit proposals to stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and articulating significant risks.
  • Monitor key local market issues, including legal, market, and compliance risk.
  • Update credit policy documentation regularly.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience working in a Credit role.
  • A valid driving license is required.
