Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations in the food and beverage department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with previous experience in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review bookings and plan for smooth department operation during shifts.
  2. Ensure the food and beverage area is checked prior to opening, is clean, properly equipped, and maintained to high standards.
  3. Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and comments.
  4. Assist in scheduling, training, and providing feedback to food and beverage staff.
  5. Supervise the food and beverage team.
  6. Work with an empathetic attitude.
  7. Ensure prompt and efficient service according to standards.
  8. Ensure all mise-en-place for restaurant service is prepared before opening hours.
  9. Maintain good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and daily food and beverage activities.
  10. Know all food and beverage outlet opening hours.
  11. Understand menu prices and suggest upselling when appropriate.
  12. Keep all equipment clean and in good working condition.
  13. Uphold hospitality guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
  14. Strictly adhere to quality standards and guest comments.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of restaurant experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit, or a valid health/food handler card as required by local regulations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live in a remote location for extended periods and travel on a single status.
