Job Overview

This role involves overseeing end-to-end procurement processes and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be key to maintaining product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability.

The role entails assisting the operations team in managing smooth daily functions across supply chains and production workflows.

This position is open to Omani nationals only.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:
  • Sourcing and negotiating with local and international suppliers for materials, packaging, and services.
  • Timely procurement of ingredients and inventory aligned with production schedules.
  • Tracking and analyzing purchasing data, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Staying updated on market trends and price fluctuations, especially in the F&B industry.
Warehouse Management:
  • Overseeing inbound and outbound logistics, stock control, and storage practices.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Implementing best practices in warehouse layout, space optimization, and safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, health, and food safety standards.
  • Monitoring expiry dates, batch tracking, and FIFO and FEFO systems.
Operational Support:
  • Collaborating with kitchen and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
  • Supporting daily production planning and material issuance.
  • Assisting in preparing operational reports and KPI tracking (e.g., order accuracy, stock turnover).
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects such as cost optimization and process automation.
  • Participating in internal audits and helping implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement and warehouse roles, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory software and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and warehouse compliance.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
