Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced meat processor to join our team. As a Meat Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing the slaughter and butchering of farm meat products.

This is a full-time role that requires a high level of physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The successful candidate will be required to manage daily orders of meat for distribution, maintain equipment hygiene schedules, and provide daily reports to the storekeeper on stocks processed and consumable items used.

The role also involves ensuring all necessary inputs are requested from the farm office as per standard delivery times, detailed in the processing handbook.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the selected candidate should be open to taking on additional farm-related tasks as assigned by the Farm Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the slaughter and butchering of farm meat products
  • Manage daily orders of meat for distribution
  • Maintain equipment hygiene schedules
  • Provide daily reports to the storekeeper on stocks processed and consumable items used
  • Request necessary inputs from the farm office as per standard delivery times

Requirements

  • High level of physical fitness

Working Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working both inside and outside conditions throughout the year. The company will provide the necessary protective equipment and clothing to ensure a safe working environment.
