Senior Engineering Team Lead

The Senior Engineering Team Lead is responsible for overseeing departmental operations and ensuring the functionality and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership
  • Build a high-performing team that is committed to their work and the hotel's vision.
  • Train staff according to hotel standards and ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Recognize and address individual performance issues fairly and promptly.
  • Schedule staff in accordance with business needs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Technical Expertise:
  • Distribute work orders and oversee their completion to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Handle equipment malfunctions and inform superiors of any issues that require attention.
  • Monitor utility consumption and optimize efficiency to reduce costs and minimize waste.
Environment Sustainability Responsibilities:
  • Foster an environmentally friendly work environment by implementing Earth Check principles within scope.
  • Maintain relevant engineering certifications to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Possess 4-5 years of hotel engineering experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office and BMS platforms.
  • Willing to work shifts and extended hours as needed to support the hotel's operations.
  • Communicate effectively in English and maintain a service-oriented mindset aligned with Hyatt standards.
