The Banquet Supervisor is a key member of our events team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of banquet events.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all banquet staff during events to ensure high-quality guest service and efficient execution.
  • Ensure event setups align with client specifications and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Oversee food and beverage service during functions to ensure timely and courteous service, responding promptly to any guest inquiries or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding menu changes, dietary needs, or timing to guarantee seamless delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to review event details, timelines, and responsibilities, ensuring everyone is informed and prepared.
  • Train and mentor banquet servers and support staff to develop their skills and confidence in providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage inventory and proper storage of banquet equipment and supplies, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in banquet or event operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business.
  • Proficient in banquet operations software and basic MS Office tools, with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
