The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to drive business growth and develop new sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include generating and maintaining a portfolio of defined accounts / areas through sales activities, such as face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, and entertainment.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role include ensuring comprehensive & complete coverage of own portfolio covering all levels of accounts' managerial & departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.

The role involves implementing & executing all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.

You will be responsible for soliciting and serving transient and group business & meetings, as well as formulating corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence.

Additional responsibilities include establishing parameters, quotes, and negotiating prices with customers for transient and group business.

You will ensure that the response to any business request is actioned within 24 hours and promote & produce sales leads for the hotel's outside of coverage area.

Site inspections of the hotel are arranged by you, and sales-related information is disseminated to other departments as appropriate.

Closing communication with the Events Management Team in the negotiation process of their accounts is also a key aspect of this role.

Attend all pre-& post-conference meetings, as required, arranged by the Event's Management Department, and follow up with the Events Management Team after the post-event meeting with Thank You calls and send Thank You Letter together.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.

Handle incoming calls and ensure messages are taken in detail and forwarded to the person concerned.

Attend departmental and communication meetings as requested by Department Head.

Major events in hotel & city may require your attendance.

Maintain close monitoring of accounts revenue and business production of own corporate portfolio and that of any assigned Sales Executives.

Maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.

Review direct competition and conduct regular research.

Maintain files of major accounts and assist Director of Sales in maintaining the accounts management system.

Ensure selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.

Maintain an up-to-date account & contact database and details in property management system.

Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of properties' unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies.

Closely coordinate and communicate with outbound sales office with regards to accounts/markets that are serviced by Outbound Sales.

Adhere to Accor Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures at all times.
