Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting the head and sous chef in delivering consistently high-quality food, managing purchase orders, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in daily preparation.

This dynamic role involves working with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques to drive culinary excellence. You will have the opportunity to assist senior chefs in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring consistent quality standards in every dish prepared.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior chefs in menu planning and food preparation
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to proper sanitation and food safety practices
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members
  • Oversee plating of dishes during service hours
  • Adjust recipes to meet dietary restrictions or customer preferences
  • Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international and regional cuisines
  • Experience in food preparation and recipe development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
