Sales Operations Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to implement sales activities and maximize business opportunities in their specific area of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing all sales objectives and action plans, ensuring comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, achieving targets and maximum productivity.

The role involves establishing parameters, quotes and negotiating prices with customers for transient and group business in connection with the properties.

Additionally, the Sales Manager will provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in its market areas.

Maintaining files of major accounts and assisting Superiors in maintaining the accounts management system is also an essential part of this role.

The Sales Manager must ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.

  2. Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.

  3. Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business in connection with the properties.

  4. Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in its market areas.

  5. Maintain files of major accounts and assist Superiors in maintaining the accounts management system.

  6. Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up-selling opportunities whenever possible.


Requirements:
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience as Sales Manager or Sales Executive.
  • Good problem-solving, administrative, highly organized with multi-tasking skills and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Experience in leisure sales and hospitality background is required.
  • Local Experience is preferable.
  • Proficiency in hotel systems.
