Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and cooking machines. They will be responsible for ensuring proper functioning of these systems, as well as determining materials and equipment needed for their upkeep.

In addition to maintenance tasks, the successful candidate will assist in installing and setting up new kitchen equipment, and ensure that all electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems are properly maintained and inspected. This includes coordinating renovations of existing facilities and construction of new ones, as well as overseeing major contract work related to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other systems.

The successful candidate must also ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment to prevent breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. Additionally, they will operate safely and environmentally responsibly to protect guests and staff health and safety, and conserve the environment.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a diploma or higher education qualification, with proven knowledge in operating equipment such as steam engines, generators, motors, turbines, and/or steam boilers. A good command of English is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
