Job Description

  • Sales Manager - Conferences & Events at a 5-Star Hotel

As a Sales Manager - Conferences & Events, you will be responsible for optimizing hotel revenue through strategic yield management and up-selling of hotel facilities and services. You will work closely with the hotel sales team to achieve monthly sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction and return business.

You will also be responsible for conducting site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization visits. Establishing and maintaining files of major accounts and bookings, ensuring all are maintained in the accounts management system is another key aspect of this role.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and its trends. They will be able to think strategically and develop effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and its trends
