Job Title: Piping Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance professionals play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of piping systems within various industries. They are responsible for identifying and resolving issues, which ultimately impacts business productivity and profitability.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing piping systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work on static and rotary equipment as per requirement
  • Manage mechanical aspects during plant shutdowns and start-ups, ensuring proper functioning of equipment
  • Supervise site operations for seamless maintenance execution
  • Optimize workforce coordination and resource management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster continuous improvement
  • Address and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during mechanical parts removal and reinstallation, refractory replacement, refractory repair, piping and replacement
  • Manage maintenance backlog, defect elimination, and reliability enhancement
  • Collaborate with other departments (electrical, civil) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components
  • Achieve daily targets and attend daily internal meetings and client meetings
  • Prepare open flame and hot work of piping and structure arranging daily toolbox talks in the field
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Adequate knowledge in selected and specific materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability and 5-8 years' experience in Fertilizer, Chemicals, Oil & Gas in Piping Maintenance/repair/replacement
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Strong technical acumen in Piping, Maintenance, repair, and replacement, Excellent leadership
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
