
Administrative Support Specialist

Located in the vibrant city of Sohar, you will be part of a dynamic team that manages a deep-sea port and freezone.
Job Description- As an assistant to the head of department, you will administer and execute overall administrative tasks for the Strategy Affairs Department.
- You will coordinate meetings, events, and visits, process invoices, and manage vendor payments.
- The role involves preparing documentation, monitoring expenditure against budgets, and ensuring business processes are up-to-date.
- Additionally, you will maintain a department webpage, update information as required, and serve as a focal point for sharing information with other departments and stakeholders.
- Key responsibilities include following up on audit observations, establishing systems for sharing news, and participating in networking events to provide feedback on trends and developments.
- Lastly, you will contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering global standards, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Administration.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Highly proactive and curious.
- Attention to detail with good research and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and effective communication skills in multiple formats.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant computer skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Highly discreet, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
