Job Description
  • As an assistant to the head of department, you will administer and execute overall administrative tasks for the Strategy Affairs Department.
  • You will coordinate meetings, events, and visits, process invoices, and manage vendor payments.
  • The role involves preparing documentation, monitoring expenditure against budgets, and ensuring business processes are up-to-date.
  • Additionally, you will maintain a department webpage, update information as required, and serve as a focal point for sharing information with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Key responsibilities include following up on audit observations, establishing systems for sharing news, and participating in networking events to provide feedback on trends and developments.
  • Lastly, you will contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering global standards, productivity, and cost reduction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Administration.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly proactive and curious.
  • Attention to detail with good research and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and effective communication skills in multiple formats.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant computer skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Highly discreet, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
