Job Opportunity for Female Junior Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Female Junior Chef to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for a VVIP family, comprising five members, and catering to guests as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail. You will work closely with the main chef to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, taking into account dietary needs, restrictions, and product specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide range of meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and during events, six days a week.
  • Create clean, tasty international and healthy dishes that meet the family's and guests' preferences.
  • Develop recipes according to family and guest preferences, dietary needs, restrictions, and product specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen housekeeping, proper storage of ingredients, labelling with expiry dates, and following FIFO principles.
  • Use fresh ingredients; avoid canned or ready-made ingredients.
  • Supervise dish quality and ensure meals are served professionally and appealingly.
  • Manage kitchen groceries and order supplies within set limits, avoiding excess and wastage.
  • Consult with clients to understand meal preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure safety and hygiene standards meet international levels and enforce compliance among kitchen staff.
  • Assist the main chef and follow instructions diligently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a junior chef in a similar setting.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of kitchen housekeeping.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
