Job Overview

The organization seeks a seasoned finance leader to drive financial stability, efficiency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on sound financial analysis.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis to monitor performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective measures.
  • Accounting & Compliance:
    • Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and inventory accounting.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting standards.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
    • Manage working capital effectively to ensure liquidity for operational and expansion needs.
    • Optimize cash flow, credit facilities, and banking relationships.
  • Risk Management & Internal Controls:
    • Establish robust internal controls across the finance and retail operations.
    • Mitigate risks related to financial reporting, fraud, or operational inefficiencies.
  • Team Development:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a competent finance team.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification: ACCA / CPA / CMA / CFA (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10-12 years' progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in retail, apparel manufacturing, or FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in restructuring and strengthening finance departments.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory requirements.
  • Advanced ERP and MS Excel proficiency.
