Junior Female Culinary Professional

The role is open for a full-time junior female culinary professional who will be working under the main chef and cooking for a family of five members, as well as catering for guests when needed.

This position requires an individual with strong culinary skills, including proficiency in preparing a wide range of meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.

  • Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of kitchen housekeeping, proper storage of ingredients, labelling with expiry dates, and following FIFO principles.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising dish quality, ensuring meals are served professionally and appealingly, managing kitchen groceries, ordering supplies within set limits, avoiding excess and wastage.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to consult with clients to understand meal preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions, and ensure safety and hygiene standards meet international levels.

Additional responsibilities include assisting the main chef, following instructions diligently, and developing recipes according to family and guest preferences, dietary needs, restrictions, and product specifications.
