Role Overview:

Senior Reservations Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reservations Agent to join our team. As a key member of our Reservations department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences from initial inquiry to departure.

Your primary focus will be on managing reservations, processing new bookings, updating existing ones, and handling advance deposits. You will also be responsible for responding to reservation emails within 24 hours, monitoring room availability, and maintaining accurate records in our internet reservation systems.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, travel agents, and other hotel staff. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to provide exceptional service and exceed performance benchmarks.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.

You must also possess technical proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems like PMS, GDS, and CRS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reservations, including processing new bookings, updating existing ones, and handling advance deposits.
  • Respond to reservation emails within 24 hours.
  • Monitor room availability and maintain accurate records in our internet reservation systems.
  • Work effectively with guests, travel agents, and other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
