Job Description
The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing coordination and administrative support to the hotel sales team, contributing to revenue generation for the hotel and other properties within the InterContinental Hotels Group. Key responsibilities include preparing all necessary documents, responding promptly to inquiries, coordinating familiarization visits, and maintaining filing systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare all required administrative documents for the hotel sales team.
- Respond to telephone, fax, and email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate all familiarization visits and site inspections as needed.
- Attend monthly sales meetings to stay informed and aligned with team goals.
- Manage all sales department mail and maintain an up-to-date correspondence database.
- Assist with direct mail campaigns and promotional activities as requested.
- Compile weekly statistical reports for relevant regions or states.
- Maintain organized filing systems (both manual and electronic).
- Update and manage the sales database.
- Support tender submissions and collaborate with other IHG properties and regional sales teams to promote their offerings.
