Compliance and Data Protection Specialist Job Duties:

We seek an experienced professional to ensure our data protection practices align with industry standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data protection impact assessments in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain an internal reporting system for data processing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide expert advice on data protection rule interpretation and application
  • Review and update internal policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with required rules and standards
  • Deliver training and awareness programs to educate staff on compliance matters, providing guidance on applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations related to business operations
  • Support the head of department in other tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/information security or a relevant field

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Objective and fact-based decision making
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic language

Work Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience in similar roles

  • Fair understanding of banking operations
  • Fair understanding of Central Bank regulations and internal policies and procedures
