Lead Pastry Baker Position
We are seeking a skilled Lead Pastry Baker to join our culinary team, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Oversee the Main Pastry & Bakery Production Kitchens, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency across outlets and kitchens.
- Menu Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with Restaurant Managers and Executive Chef on menu planning, pricing, and seasonal updates.
- Culinary Expertise: Maintain high standards in recipe accuracy, presentation, and preparation per Executive Chef guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient quality and recipe consistency, supporting POS accuracy and menu setup.
Leadership and Team Management
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and schedule the team effectively, ensuring alignment with labor budgets and business volume.
- Performance Monitoring: Plan manpower, equipment, and supply needs based on forecasts; maintain cleaning schedules and food safety compliance.
- Grooming and Service Standards: Uphold grooming standards and guest service excellence, personally handling special requests and dietary needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Candidates must have a Bachelor of Hotel Management degree or equivalent experience in a pastry-related field.
- Proven Track Record: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Skill Set: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
