
Senior Pastry and Dessert Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker and pastry leader to oversee the daily operations of our in-house bakery and dessert menu. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, leading by example, and delivering high-quality products consistently.
About the Role:
- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the production and execution of in-house bakery and dessert menu.
- Menu Development: Create new and innovative menu items that meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
- Team Leadership and Training: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the bakery team.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards.
- Ingredient Sourcing: Source high-quality ingredients from reputable suppliers to ensure consistency and excellence in all products.
- Recipe Documentation and Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of recipes and costs to optimize production and reduce waste.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Special Events and Custom Orders: Coordinate and execute special events and custom orders to meet the needs of our customers.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a baker and pastry leader in a high-volume kitchen.
- Skills: Strong technical skills in baking and pastry preparation, with a creative flair and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of experienced bakers and pastry chefs.
- Culinary Knowledge: Expertise in a wide range of baked goods, including artisan breads, pastries, cakes, plated desserts, and seasonal creations.
- Passion for Excellence: A commitment to delivering exceptional, high-quality products with a focus on both taste and visual appeal.
- Food Safety: Knowledge and adherence to food safety standards, with a strong understanding of HACCP protocols.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to maintain seamless operations.
